The Egyptian Pound (in Arabic gineih) is the currency of Egypt and is divided into 100 Piasters (in Arabic irsh). It was quite stable in the last years. For the current convertion rate you may take a look at Yahoo!Finance​ or ask at your favorite bank.

You may exchange money at the airport when you arrive or at any hotel.

Some touristic shops may also accept Euros or Dollars.​

Most of the banks have also ATMs where you can use your bank card or credit card.
